Hello from a much sunnier and brighter Eyam - it's wonderful to see the daffodils appearing, temperatures rising and some of the most beautiful blue skies I have seen. I suspect they seem even more vivid than usual after the unrelenting grey of recent months.

Green Fingers

We are delighted to see the return of our friends at Dawson's Yard who will be back next week with their beautiful spring bulbs and fabulous herbs. And they join Rosie from The Hopeful Flower Co who sources sustainably grown blooms (and grows her own), crafting beautiful bouquets and stunning colour combinations. Rosie is also leading a workshop on 1st April demonstrating how to create a lovely Spring table arrangement.

Book via our website which has more details, here

You’ll also discover some lovely new things to enjoy or gift, including seeds to sow at home, an affordable way to create a beautiful display in your own garden, and lavender eye bags. We’ve chosen a small selection from Botanique Workshop. Happy gardening!

Something we're excited to announce is our participation in the Sunday Letter Writing Project. It has been the brainchild of Rebecca and Karl of Wildflower Illustration Co to encourage folk to slow down and connect in a less virtual way.

We wholeheartedly embrace connection here, so were delighted to become part of the network of small businesses where you can browse letters (be patient, we've only just signed up so are waiting for these to come in), pick a penpal and start writing.

Using the cafe as a postal address protects personal information and why not write your letter over a coffee? There are hubs all over the world to choose from - more info here .

With Mother's Day nearly upon us we will have some extra treats in the counter this weekend - look out on our socials for updates. There is much more to come in the year ahead; more workshops, evening pop-ups; we welcome ideas from the folk who know us best so get in touch with your own ideas if you think our space fits a particular use or collab.

Diary Dates coming up...
