Accessibility

Please read our accessibility information below.

Our premises is in an historic building and so we have no provision for a disabled toilet. It is a single toilet, accessed outside with a slight slope and small step into it.

However, our cafe is partially accessible and will accommodate a wheelchair at certain tables (we are happy to take bookings via phone or or website)

There is a slight step into the cafe and dropped kerbs from the street to the pavement outside. We also have outside seating for warmer days which is located directly outside on a level, paved area.

Menu available to view online

Our menu is available to view online as well as in person in our restaurant. The online version can be zoomed in via mobile phone or desktop.

Family Friendly

We have a children’s menu aimed at under 7s, toys for different age groups and welcome breast feeding mums. We currently do not have baby changing facilities (due to the size of our loo) but are actively looking for a solution to this.

Dietary requirements

Our  menu has choices for different dietary requirements & allergies. We have vegan, vegetarian, nut free, gluten free & dairy free options available with the caveat that those allergens are present in our kitchen so we cannot guarantee dishes are free from traces of allergens.

All of our team have completed allergen awareness training and we take those responsibilities seriously. Please highlight any allergies/intolerances with your server when ordering.

Derbyshire Safe Place

We are a member of the Derbyshire Safe Place Scheme for anyone aged 11 or over who feels scared, lost, or needs help while out and about. Participating venues—such as shops, pharmacies, libraries, and GP surgeries—display a purple sticker in their window. Staff will help by contacting a carer or calling emergency services if needed.
